You are not my pal, dude.
human garbage
You are not my pal, dude.
Piracy wizards may teach you a homing missile spell of linking a magnet to someone and then sending a torrent of bits and pieces their way.
Lightning wizards can teach you how systematically shocking your minions should to some extent boost their efficiency in the same amount of time. They call it ‘over clocking’.
And ‘distributed denial of service’ or ‘dedossery’, is a mastery of wizards who are just pissed, means sending a ton of said minions to one particular shitty tavern, ordering something and walking away en masse.
There wasn’t any legal ban. RosCommNadzor slowed down TG like they recently did with YT (it can barely load a music track without VPN) without any court decision because they can, it went for a week or so, and then it was lifted. Nobody knows why, but there is a suspicion that TG started to cooperate with russian authorities, in a non-automatical manual manner. Some suspect it was a PR campaign to make it as popular as it is now.
It didn’t leak stuff as far as I know, that’s done by bots like Глаз Бога that accunulate all info on a person and frequently used in OSINT and deanon\bullying, but blocking popular bots and channels that are too annoying to Russia is what they do. From the top of my head: CleverVoting (Умное Голосование, УГ) channels from Navalny’s team*, channels for cooperation of protest of soldiers’ wives, separatist channels from Bashkortostan and other places. I’ve seen iranians also posted that they had their protest channels banned - and Iran and Russia banned free and popular VPNs at the same time, spoiling their cooperation.
* Durov’s public comment on that gave birth to a meme. He implied that there are just two ways: either banning it from TG or having TG banned on the whole territory of Russian Federation. As a copypasta it was transformed millions of times, and if it hasn’t lost it relevance, we could’ve probably seen a boykisser version of it.
Wow, thank you. I’d keep that comment as my guiding compass in that game-verse. Infodump is what I was looking for, and I could’ve asked you to do it harder if you hadn’t exhausted my demand in the first run (:
Thanks.
(At first I was surprised FF series got to Wii U times, only to learn that Wii U is twelve years old. Damn I’m ancient)
The first one, but what part would you recommend if I drop it?
I’m nearly sold on trying it on emulator, but I wonder what a fan can say to prepare me for that journey.
Is that a seal of approval?
I’m not an Apple person but IIRC their appstore is functional for already purchased and free apps. New purchases, as well as import of devices, are done via various grey schemes like via currencies and borders of third countries. I can’t recall news about someone getting individually banned for that, but some opportunistic foreign banks closed their doors to rubles fearing sanctions. Official stores are closed, but I guess their repair\replace services are still operated but without a connection to the Apple themselves. There were also services to install non-Appstore banking clients and government’s services via some loopholes. At the same time, except for the app in the OP, some apps can choose not to be availiable in a select country on their own.
I guess Apple did the formal exit and then stopped to care. It’s not operating in Russia per se, but it operates in other countries with entities barely passing as legal consumers and resellers. They still get their profits as usual, and these interlayer smugglers make big bucks enough to be advertised in every second russian youtube video. Is there then a mechanism to make Apple filter them out?
A bit related news piece: russian gamers cried over Sony limiting Helldivers 2 to select countries, while other russian gamers dunked on them for they have PSN linked to the right country.
And Lemmy doesn’t have a button to follow individual users or have a multireddit, for them or for some communities. On Reddit I had my porn subs collected into one tab (+Friends tab) and this didn’t show anywhere else, but there it’s only solvable by creating another account on lemmynsfw for that while banning all porn on your main acc. Following one creator without their own /c/ is a problem.
IIRC Wordpress had plugins to autorepost into other places. Maybe if Lemmy had one, it could’ve been perceived as less isolated by OC authors. For now you need to put effort to post a thing there too, for the sake of a small 1 mil userbase.
Authorization by your ID grants you a personal white IP address that we and our 734 partners would carefully use for your own good 🤗
Just like with cryptocurrencies as a crime tool, it needs to get traction so interesting transactions mix with ordinary ones. Making the list of deviating individuals (that won’t be leaked in a week, I promise) singles them out as the ones you do want to spy on. Proponents of this law are both evil and stupid.
You end up responsible for them though.
You are welcome. Hope you’d get the most from whatever you choose (:
In spite of you saying it’s not for you, I think that finding a cheap hosting for your blog is the easiest solution there. With some effort you can export your Wordpress.com site onto an actual free WP engine they sit above. Then, with plugins, here come autoreposts to other social media and whatever you want. Low traffic means you can choose an options with the lowest price.
As a bonus you can also host your portfolio page, get personalized email addresses, a VPN server to wherever it’s hosted, and basically an environment you can put anything to, even your own Lemmy instance.
On the latter - the population of federated platform is very small but super loyal, and also lacking content. So I feel that even if you won’t consider making or renting your own server, establishing your blog here can get you a lot of interactions. Probably, some admins won’t mind if you make your own /c/ommunity for that as long as it’s not abandoned.
OP means Wordpress.com, a hosting website and a constructor using Wordpress.org engine. VPS solves it completely, but they don’t find paying for hosting worth it.
We can log active processes and services, windows’ headers and states, their and mouse’s position, integrate it with one’s git versions’ and browser view’s history, history of all file relocations done by select programs or\and by user. If there’s an AI assistant like M$ Autopilot, also log every request and output in a text form, log keys, back up settings and configs. If we talk about screenshots, pure text table is as light as a feather and is easier to work with, so this 3sec delay looks like an overkill, even though they’d find a way to compress it. With enough data, it’s probably easier to take time and reconstruct an approximate screencap than hoard it.
I imagine dragging your position on a timeline across entire months may be a fun novelty. But I don’t see myself having a reason to use it and prefer to lose information over logging so much of it even if it’s secure.
Besides what others say it also strenghtens monopoly on information, a resource used in research, but also valuable in creating hyped up LLMs (like Reddit did closing their API). Likes can be used to map which groups like what, which content is seen as valuable, singling out bot networks from organic reactions etc etc. This information enriches datasets you can gather (without paying Musk?).
I would probably vouch for that info to be accessible to either no one or anyone. Twitter is still a public square where politicians and orgs announce stuff and leave their official remarks, so it’s more valuable if it’s transparent. And we also had some scandals with famous douches liking controversal shit or just porn from their main accounts (:
At the time they’ve been seen as a gimick, mostly because they were PRed by the government as our local invention and an iphone-killer it wasn’t. That’s a shame.
I grew to be mweh about PhylosophyTube, but they did a good entry video into that discourse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyzd_a6vLWY
9\11 and other attacks turned security measures to 11, it’s hard to roll them back and you’d be criticized if you want them to.
