Had a player once try to pickpocket another, it didn’t go well.
They passed the perception check, and also rolled a successful hit. Dude dropped like a sack of potatoes.
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.

I like the sound of that
I’m going to have to keep that idea in my back pocket for later for sure
I’m a forever DM so I’ve got so many unused character ideas that turn into either NPCs or if a player is like “I forgot to make a backstory”
But with the amount of improv I do as a DM it’s very little effort for me.
Though I agree it should be discussed as part of session 0. As it’d be rude not to.
Session 0 for my groups is always the same really, we sit around boucing ideas off of each other for characters, things we don’t want to be touched on during the campaign, and what kind of campaign we want.
Seriously this opens up so much creativity for the DM.
“This person seems familiar to you, but you’re not sure why.”
“You think you’ve been here before, but you’re not sure when.”
“Being on a ship feels like home, but you have no memories of ever being on a ship.”
“Upon seeing the ruins of the village you find yourself overcome with sorrow, you feel like you’ve lost something important but you don’t know what.”
Part of the adventure can be a quest to reunite them with their lost memories.
After working in customer service for so many years: give me an actual carrion crawler rather than this please.
But the local humans call me Phil the Drunkard
I’ve shucked a few drives in the past but when there was a big sale on hard drives awhile back I finished decking my NAS out with 8TB drives that weren’t shucked as they came out to be cheaper than the ones in enclosures at the time.
The main downside is warranty really and some of the drives from enclosures need to have the power blocked on one of the pins to work (can’t remember which sorry) due to the type of drive they are.
I’m very interested for when a price is announced for this
Hopefully it’s reasonable
Hell yeah that’s freaking awesome
I hope to see these become popular someday and with that kind of increase they’re likely to get a shit ton of funding
NGL I think it should all brain chips should fall under “concerning” and “controversial”
The artificial eyes that existed in the past come to mind.
For those unfamiliar, when the companies that made them went under support for the devices vanished and the people who got them were left with broken and defunct hardware still stuck in their heads
They got to weasel out of admitting wrong doing as part of the settlement?
What a joke
That’s an insult to shit
My players dipped into one of the mega dungeons I’ve made
Shit was wild and they plan to go back to explore some more but they’re wanting to get stronger first
Little do they know there’s MORE mega dungeons to be found that they haven’t discovered yet
Edit: The one that they have been into had different layers with different kinds of environments and critters. They only made it a few layers down before they turned back due to the dangers.
They can pry my local account from my cold dead hands
Cool
I’m learning more and more about Linux while using Linux Mint
It’s pretty cool NGL
When I looked into it the first thread I found about it mentioned that those were disabled
But looking back at it the thread was from a year ago
Depending on your game preference it may be already there in some aspects
Basically it depends on the kind of anticheat the game has
So you’re running windows without system updates, without restore points, AND without windows defender?
That’s pretty daring raw dogging the internet like that
I use Linux Mint on a bunch of my machines
In general it’s pretty painless
I still have a Windows machine but I’m hoping to fix that soon
I don’t really like the idea of punishing players in game like that
We’re all there to have fun and we all have different ideas of fun
