Play is sandboxed on gOS. I block Network access for Google’s Camera app as well:
I mostly use F-Droid via Neo Store but I do have Play Store still for a couple apps like for banks or this camera app.
Then for my sanity I keep this shit disabled until I actually need to use cam, mic, loc.

Because of this your brain is forced to use different pathways rather than continuing to entrench your current ones - quite literally getting you out of a rut.
It was as you said, quite literally like that in my experience the first time taking shrooms with a friend. We were getting me out of a very deep rut/early grave and I don’t think it would’ve been possible without tripping combined with an intelligent friend who gave a shit.

That’s easy to see evidence of via the Spam folder getting more active the longer you use the same email account, can use email aliases for a better chance to figure out who-dun-it but it’s usually compromised hacked servers.
