I’m a computer janitor that sometimes streams trying to learn dev https://www.twitch.tv/destide

One of the Ublue devs is working on some things to move on from rpm tree just podman and bootc all the way down
It has been Slackware based since inseption I think just because that’s what fit when it was created.Fedora particually Silverblue and in turn some of the Ublue projects have shown you can create a super stable environment for container based workloads.
Updates are seemless and targetable a fedora backend gives them an easier switch to podman should docker not be viable in the future.
From the article it looks like they’re focusing on Faster security updates Better hardware support through the Linux kernel There’s a clear seperation of the base os and the apps, plugins etc that Silverblue/Ublue can offer that Debian couldn’t do as easily and they’d be better off just sticking on Slackware.

Thanks good advice underestimated the bar of the community.

Fair enough, tag added. I hadn’t realised the rule extended to AI assisted contributions in third-party projects I’m merely linking to.Didn’t occur to me to dig into the projects repo. Hence my comment with it not being my project.I get it though vibe coded projects have become an issue it’s just that it was a broader disclosure requirement than I expected, so I’ll bear it in mind.

What are you talking about? This isn’t an AI article; it’s about a server OS/infrastructure platform.
Yes, you could use Bluefin Server to run AI workloads, they mention it because it’s container focused. But that’s not what makes something an AI related post. Where do you draw that line otherwise? Would a keyboard review need an AI tag because you could use the keyboard to type a prompt?
It’s not my project either so I have no idead if or where LLM’s are being used.

The irony that a site called 404 doesn’t load for you 😄 here you go op. · Jul 28, 2026 at 1:27 PM The U.S. government has charged Samuel Tunick with allegedly typing in a passcode to wipe his phone before officers could search it. “I hope people understand that the charges against me are meant to intimidate people,” he said. ‘The Government Hopes To Set a Precedent’: An Interview With the Man Charged for Allegedly Wiping His GrapheneOS Phone Images: Samuel Tunick and 404 Media. In charging a man for allegedly typing in a duress password which wiped his privacy-focused GrapheneOS phone, the U.S. government is trying to intimidate other activists from protecting their data and participating in social movements, Samuel Tunick, the man charged, told 404 Media in an interview on Tuesday.
The case of Tunick, who participated in the Stop Cop City movement in Atlanta, has resonated across privacy and civil liberties circles. 404 Media first broke news of the case in December. Last week, The Guardian reported additional details including from a court hearing in the case. The maximum sentence for the alleged crime is five years in federal prison.

Doesn’t matter what your intentions are.
Doesn’t matter what earnings you posted this quarter.
Doesn’t matter if you believe in climate change.
Doesn’t matter if you need this truck.
You’re on this rock of wind and water and it’ll do what it needs, to get back to it’s equilibrium. That might be at a level we don’t exist anymore nature is emotionless and you can’t control it.

Where the film lost a significant message of the books. He did spare a lot of the expense :D

Yeah, they didn’t pay the one sysadmin enough

Love it, integrating jelly seer means my partner can just discover shows and add them
Cast doplganger now it’s sterilogue

Another rule for thee policy no business worth their salt can operate without Vpn tech so colour me surprised they get an exemption. Even China can’t keep a handle on it… China! We can’t even keep state secrets from travelling around the circle line. It’s another overreach that serves 0 progress whist wasting more money and resources that could go to something more beneficial. No vpns ok I’ll just rent or setup a remote computer and run wireguard or friendly wireguard aka Tailscale.
So bored of clueless legislation from short minded techno morons and sadly it won’t go away with the boomers like we thought.

Politics in gaming is awesome, ham fisted writing and design wrapped up in an opinion lecturing the player so it breaks the universe ruleset is crap and does more damage to what ever message you were trying to push.
Sadly a lot of socially important messages are pushed as a selling point by people who don’t really have the background to fully create a bridge that speaks to People.
This is the same for a lot of creative work our artists are increasingly coming from privileged and protected backgrounds that we’re losing the depth and edge of the art. Indie games as usual are the standard games like Star dew address so much about humanity in a beautiful way.
I play crusader kings for the plot not the politics😄

So it isn’t {Current_thing_I_personally_don’t_like}

Ok so let’s get those files and only redact the victims
