Helldivers 2 works fine on my debian using steam. As do most other games. Some DRM are windows only. And i will care about that when i have finished my steam backlog

I see you get downvoted a lot. But as a norwegian that repeatedly have run into the norwegian problem when trying to use some program… i see you.

For matrix there is a no for client removes image metadata. Did you check all clients? I would imagine it was client dependent.

How often depends on how much work it is to recreate, or the consequences of loosing data.

Some systems do not have real data locally, get a backup every week. Most get a nightly backup. Some with a high rate of change , get a lunch/middle of the workday run.
Some have hourly backups/snapshots, where recreating data is impossible. CriticL databases have hourly + transaction log streaming offsite.

How long to keep a history depends on how likely an error can go unnoticed but minimum 14 days. Most have 10 dailes + 5 weeky + 6 monthly + 1 yearly.

If you have paper recipes and can recreate data lost easily. Daily seems fine.

This! Authy is very very nice. Syncing accounts is a life saver, both as backup, and not having to pick up the phone all the time.
Cut and pasting with a click instead of reading and typing, is so much faster.
Easily search the very long list of entries.
Not open source tho, but free as in beer.
If Aegis had the sync option, i would have used that. But it did not last time i checked.
