That was the thing that made me think reticulum was worth pursuing actually. It does work over a lot of stuff besides lora. You can mesh WiFi routers or other protocols. The issue is bandwidth ota since so much is dedicated to commercial stuff, but you can route reticulum over that including through i2p for anonymity. Meshtastic very much focuses on lora only, reticulum does not.

Funny how it’s actually the opposite, parents offering too much control, rather than education and understanding, while delegating that education and care to The State and Capital that seeks to exploit, which leaves people unable to care for themselves.

That user might be in the slim minority but they do exist and I appreciate them taking that into account and taking seriously the security of people who aren’t super technical.
