People still use Twitter?
I’m not ignoring!
There’s definitely the stigma that Telegram is only used by criminals
Telegram probably doesn’t have E2E so that people can have always active desktop sessions
I ”trust” Signal the most because there is 100% transparency, I can look into the inner workings of the app and see what it does at all time.
Telegram is the best (in sense of privacy) message app you can actually manage to get your friends and family to use.
I thought Telegram is quite big there?
Thank you, I appreciate your non-douchy response
I get that, but that is not what I asked for. So yeah, dead end :P
This is a dead end, I am asking you of privacy benefits of a VPS and you say ”all of them” but you give me none. What’s the point?
But what privacy do you have if you host on someone elses computer? That is what I am asking because I see a lot of people doing VPS but I don’t understand why from a privacy perspective you would do that.
No I am not, I am asking why you are hosting that on a rented VPS instead of your own server
Like what? It’s not like your are more anonymous for doing that, and you lose complete ownership.
What kind of privacy benefits does renting someone elses computer power have?
My bad, thought you meant support as incompatibilities. Offical support doesn’t matter much to you since you are not using an enterprise license.
Wdym nginx is not supported? It very much is. Nextcloud is a pain to set up but after fiddling with settings for a day or two you can get it working smoothly. In my experience there are no good alternatives to it.
I believe you can skip account registration if you kill the internet connection to your VM while running the installation.
What?
