2 months ago@Legion739 oh, I see you have a printer! Which one?

No longer working on but still want #decentralization, #p2p and #dWeb tech, online #privacy and #security, #CopyLeft, #FOSS #Rust.
The #fediverse is a lifeboat, #p2p is the shore.
I block liberally to curate my feed, so for example using or promoting LLMs, commercial accounts and bots, begging or spamming hashtags will get a block.

@Legion739 Did you 3D print yourself or send the designs away? What did you use software wise?
Just curious, I don’t have time for this atm but love the idea, so maybe one day.
@Legion739 nice, good job as they say. Mine will never look neat and tidy but I appreciate the pics all the same.

I agree we need better and remember the early days well. Before indexes we passed URLs, in fact just IP addresses of servers we’d visit to see what was there, and that was often a directory of documents, papers etc. It filled us with awe, but let’s not dial back that far!Another improvement will be #LocalLLMs both for privacy and personalised settings. Much of the garbage now is in service of keeping us searching rather than finding what we want.

@Legion739 thanks, I’ll look it up for the future.
