The fact your seeking feedback suggests no, but it was certainly a bad move, both as a DM and as an uncle. Punishing anyone, though especially children, without explaining why is mean. You have a responsibility to clearly communicate problems with others as an authority figure at the table and in their life. I don’t necessarily think the punishment was unreasonable, but if it’s not explained to them, it just comes across as arbitrary and vindictive.

Imo, the best way to handle issues like that is to set the rules and consequences, making them clear to everyone, and to be consistent in their application. Letting people off or being vindictive will just exacerbate things.

I dunno about the other two, but you absolutely own the music you download from bandcamp. Trying to gaslight everyone into believing that apple music isn’t shit is naïve at best, complicit at worst.

They also have regular “Bandcamp Fridays”, where they forego their 25% and give musicians 100% of proceeds for the day. It’s a good chance to directly support small artists.

Maybe ask them to block your account? That would keep them from seeing anything you talk about, though it’d also block any other communication here if that’s a problem.

This scene had me tearing up. I had found Mordin so grating and unpleasant at first, but his arch of redemption (for him and his species) ended up making him one of my favorites by the end.

I didn’t even know until much later that there were variations to this scene without this shot and I’m very greatful I stumbled blindly into this one because it’s by far the best.
