Yeah. I plan to. Might be better already anyway
The behavior for that seems slightly different. It’s possible it was a bug that was already fixed too (or buggy extension even). but, I did originally think that. It’s not a big deal, and only noticed it recently.
My issue I’m finding, is that some of my tabs are magically grouping, an I have no idea why its even happening. I just notice a line under them
I honestly haven’t had any issues with any of the changes. Other than the new tab grouping or whatever that is meant to be
We did the maths. Didn’t seem worthwhile and the payback period was a very long time

Open Source@lemmy.ml•F-Droid's New App Shows it Isn't Going Anywhere
3·1 month agoYeah… I wasn’t aware of that. I think I tried apps like Control4 and Sonos and couldn’t find them, and then bailed (this was a few days ago).
The apps I saw when opening it, just (at least at first glance), didn’t really feel like top tier apps, but I might try it again, as I didn’t know you could add more repos
What I’m really hoping is that Steam opens a Android App store

Open Source@lemmy.ml•GrapheneOS Isn't Happy With Google Over Pixel's Widening Head Start
1·1 month agoThat makes sense… As, for gaming, you’d make the windows full sized, and they can just use gamescope.
But, doesn’t mean it can’t be improved long term

8·1 month agoSteam lepton is interesting.
It’s almost like steam is also possibly going after the play store eventually too. So, if they do that, and manufacturers change away, it’s a win

5·2 months agoQuite easy. It’s like my grade 5 essays which I didn’t copy off Encarta, and changed a few words.
Plus, if you call it AI and add blinky words like “thinking” you can dodge it too

12·2 months agoI’m not sure that matters. And it’s not like US hasn’t done the same in many cases too. I had an American friend who legit claimed US invented pizza

4·3 months agoI was going to mention that, but apparently, you’re only allowed to advertise now if you have a prototype and fairly late. So, not sure it still generally applies.
The bigger issue, is that it would be probably easier to detect these patterns, and immediately flag them.

Actually… Found the discussion: https://www.linuxfoundation.org/blog/blog/master-slave-and-the-fight-over-offensive-terms-in-computing-kate-conger-new-york-times-april-13-2021
It was the Internet Engineering Task Force. But not sure if this is what is being referred to in this case
Its been 6 years now. These Turbo cancers don’t seem particularly fast…
Not sure what the discussion was, but, I recall they changed terms like Master/slave a few years back (maybe in the linux kernel), to make things nicer. I have no problem with this (not a big deal).

Yes please
