1·2 months agoI agree that comments like that are unhelpful/unnecessary, but how is that “for their own benefit”? Other than the actual devs themselves using that as a way to just ignore issues, I do not follow

152·2 months agoLook up the article on Wayback machine and you only find minimal updates over the years.
The difference between this and the most recent snapshot from before Aug. 28, 2024 is just that they removed the link to a particular news story. Even checking the oldest snapshot, you can see there has been no significant change to the main content since it was originally posted years back.
I have definitely installed a handful of APKs over the years that did not work for me because they required Play Services, but that is far from being most of the APKs I’ve tried.
They escaped from a pyramid scheme by pretending to be homeless.
That is my favorite 2048 app on F-Droid
My favorite new feature here is vertically swiping the spacebar for vertical cursor movement. Not as good as iOS’s spacebar cursor implementation, but a welcome improvement over that of any other Android keyboard I have tried.

What is the limiting factor here? Is there a possibility this could be expanded to more devices in the near future?
A username is simply a way to initiate contact on Signal without having to share your phone number. (You still need a phone number to sign up for Signal.)

Maybe pedantic, but it’s a totally different developer that took the Infinity for Reddit source code and forked it into Eternity for Lemmy. The Infinity dev was not interested.
3·8 months agoI just wish the Flatpak had a more keyboard/controller friendly UI. Seeking around the current video using KB/controller is fine, but navigating the UI to pick what to watch pretty much requires a mouse.
EDIT: Just change the display mode! Settings > Display > Display mode > TV
