I tried something similar with my brother-in-law. He is not against chat control in Europe (we live in Denmark), so I asked him to give me his phone, unlock it and let me play around with it without him in the same room. He refused, but still has “nothing to hide”. He has not changed his mind…

I changed to jellyfin a couple of weeks ago, and my wife and I both prefer jellyfin, by far. It’s quicker and just looks better. We only use it for streaming local content, never used any other Plex features.
