Sure they should be allowing it, but anyone who cares about digital privacy and freedom that’s still using apple devices kinda deserves what they get at this point.

I used brave for a while, but left as I felt there was something fishy about them. Seems I was right
Why don’t you get a shark vacuum cleaner. Honesty those make vacuuming kinda fun( it even has headlights!). You can stick some headphones on, listen to some music you like, and you even get some exercise! And you can still vacuum when the WiFi goes out!
Now if you’re disabled or something I understand the need for a robot, but otherwise you could save a ton of money, get exercise, and have zero privacy concerns.
Wait so it’s not just that my vps only has 1gb of ram?
You guys with more ram still get crashes?
Because every totalitarian government in history has gone so well for the people under them
Honesty just reading them all doesn’t take long as they aren’t super long or wordy, and then you know what the terms for using any FOSS software is just by looking at what the licence is
Of course they do. It’s just they’re no longer afraid of telling us they are
I use DX, and it’s a really great app with some great features like:
Well for one they made certbot which is a system that can get any website a free SSL certificate( which you need to have HTTPS on your site). So that’s one great thing millions of people use
But is that a problem for the threat model of banking as your bank logs everything you’re doing and will gladly share that with the government anyway. My question is is there any other possible data they could gather besides the VPN server’s IP address and what I’m doing with my bank?
I have often wondered if you can take an android phone, drill and rip out all the sensors and radio transmitters, and use wired Ethernet through a VPN router and still be able to use just banking apps as that seems to be one thing I keep a proprietary phone around for.
Edit: I forgot the speaker and the mic though the mic could be classed as a sensor
Throw your phone out. Get a small librebooted laptop and use an android emulator for any apps.
I know it’s an unobtainable dream, but a banking app for every bank on any platform.
We got reasonably close with signal, but I know what you mean. I’ve had friends think I was some sort of escaped convict just because I’d rather use Matrix to chat instead of FB.
Nextcloud, after setting it up it gives me everything I love about Google and Apple’s cloud services without the privacy invasion or any of the other cons. And I even find it more stable and less buggy. 10/10
Tried sending the video and got the same result (have WhatsApp for work) very interesting and exactly why I’m trying to get my friends on Matrix
I actually just did and I’m impressed that after several pages of search results I couldn’t fine anything. That means I’m doing a good job, because besides a Facebook account and an Instagram account I purely use to reach some friends I have no social media.
And you don’t think they wouldn’t use psychological torture like whiteroom torture, sleep deprivation, and many other types of non physical torture that you can look up (if you can stomach what some people put others through) on him. I honesty really hope they aren’t torturing the guy, but that doesn’t stop me from suspecting they probably are after how much trouble he caused them.
I’m by no means an expert, but how is it the phone can still make emergency calls if it has zero contact with the network if it’s simless? Seems like a solution that isn’t actually one, especially if you consider stuff like IMIE numbers.
And I’m sure if I could be bothered to look into this solution I would be right.
Plus most tracking and privacy violations work just as well if not better via WiFi.
