  • You didn’t have a good experience with it, many of us did have some food experiences with it.

But it made going out on the Internet interesting. Today I’m not sure if its less or more risky to view a sketchy site, is it more risky now with ransom ware, data scraypers, and such.

Ide consider viruses to be less of a risk today, but my results probably vary

My experience was that those webrings often worth checking out if you didnt have something specific you were looking for today.

Its not the same at all, but theres a sense of my experience when i suddenly realize im on wikipedia and have opened 50+ tabs after I’ve finished what i was reading. Then just going through the tabs you have open

  • He was an NSA analyst that told us about things like 5 Eyes. He commited treason by revealing classified information because he took a stance against what he concluded was overreach and problematic behavior and decided to become a whistleblower about it

He did this knowing the punishment was death, so he found refuge which unfortunately is russia.

At this point its not hard to imagine Putin would want to convert snowden but no one who is claiming Snowden is a shill/russian asset is doing so based on any evidence, its all anecdotal and opinion because Putin would absolutely use him if he could convince him

  • Its like when you walk full speed into a glass door because you forgot THAT one sliding glass door DOES, in fact, exist.

Or drive away from your parking spot with food on the top of your car.

Inconsequentlycoincidently I had taken edible and also tried a new whiskey called spicebox chocolate. Its a canadian rye whiskey aged in cocoa bean barrels the label says. So im not entirely sure th at

  • I think they are saying that this person apparently drives poorly enough to warrant a huge increase in insurance and that they want people who are bad drivers to be found out, but that they don’t like the way this person was found to be a bad driver. Kind of a “while this is the result we want this is horrible, and not the way to get it.”

They are conflicted, perhaps even made conceptually(?) uncomfortable, because they see value in that persons insurance reflecting their driving history, by the fact that they see a positive outcome in this case of invasion of privacy.

That’s how i read it, not then condoning it just sharing some internal dilemma here. If my take is accurate, we should have compassion and help them through this with support not jumping to conclussions.

They very much did not suggest that they approve at all of the sale of their data only that they see a connection.

They cant ignore that people will use this as justification to continue down this path into the complete solvency of privacy…and that it may just work

I’m making a lot of assumptions to explain my take in their eyes and expanding out a bit. Admittedly i am exploring this and cannot prove anything I’ve just said

  • This was covered by taking 10 and taking 20 rules in various versions

Basically if there are no consequences for failure you will eventually succeed if you keep retrying. These rules were designed with “skills cant crit in mind” which ive noticed a lot of people dont know or just ignore

Its one of the few wholesome times to take credit for someone elses idea and use/abuse it. Those are the stories to tell your players after the campaign is over… hey guys so you remember when… I had to throw out everything i prepared and make it up on the fly. Glad you allmgad a good time

  • What many people dont often do is create their own spells. It takes a lot of time and effort to come up with, and not completely break the game balance. But its really a wonderful part of the game when done within the context of “dont be an asshole gamer”

Creating unique elements for your characters/campaigns is some of the more rewarding experiences ive had with ttrpg.

That being said im too lazy and have generally just played hack n slash/murder hobo type games

    But only mostly.

The best gaming experiences ive found are the ones where creativity is rewarded without disrespecting the table and overall group. When you have players collaborating over some idea they think is really good or just exciting to them, if its really dumb and stupid its probably going to be very satisfying when the dm controls the consequences well but goes with it(even the negative ones!)

Failure should always be made to be simply a different path not a roadblock(sometimes that does mean rolling new character or whole party!)

Edit: had to fix a sentence. But also want to add a shout out to all the awsome DMs out there that let us get to play the games. Its not easy and it can be a lot of work but thank you even if ill never meet you
