The chinese police\immigration use beagles for drug dogs. They are so dang cute I tried to pet one and got the shit scream at me for trying. Yeah I know yur nor supposed to touch a service dog but was to damn cute not to give em a little love.
When it’s an actual service dog, as opposed to a narc like those beagles, seriously never do this. Doesn’t matter how cute they are, it would only make you a total asshole. Cop dogs and whatnot don’t have actually important jobs to interfere with so you’re good.
It’s not like it was doing important work like a seeing eye dog. Let them have drugs.

Sad thing is more of the latter would decrease the need/demand for the former.
