I’d like to think the bull tried fighting the donkey, got his shit rocked, and developed respect for him.

According to headlines, scientists spend most of their time baffled.

According to the articles, scientists spend most of their time advancing easily understandable theories that neatly explain their observations.

Donkeys are intelligent critters. They are often employed to guard pasture animals. They will fiercely defend them. This isn’t unusual at all.

I dno. There have been nature specials about interspecies bonds between animals. They’re like little people that have their favorites. Not that surprising.

It’s almost like humans have evolved next to every other animal on this planet, and it’s almost like… mammals share certain aspects of how they experience life. Including liking/disliking/hating certain people/animals.

Humans love to anthropomorphise animals when they do human-like things or express certain emotions. And most likely said animals do feel something related to those emotions, because after all, their experience of this mortal coil isn’t that different from ours. What they seem to lack is the understanding of those emotions, at least on a human-like conscious level.

In reality, we shouldn’t be anthropomorphise animals, but realise that 90% of the things we do, animals do too, it’s just that we have a conscious understanding of those things that animals lack. Or, sometimes, it’s the other way around. I mean I don’t see penguins or donkeys or bulls being homophobic and trying to kill other animals just because they happen to be attracted to the same sex, for example.

What in the hell is gay about this?

I have two cats: one male and one female. Both were spayed/neutured.

They will cuddle and clean one another.

They also want to cuddle and clean me.

    Now: am I cat-gay now? Am I bi-catual.

I don’t think the bull wanted to mount the donkey.

But it seems like a wonderful and interesting friendship. Cool as fuck.

But whoever wrote this article needs to grow up a bit, or perhaps the researchers.

    Nothing appeared homosexual.

The bull was able to smell the donkey’s ass, which is surprising:

The donkey’s instinct is to kick, while the bull’s is to charge.

So that was so cool. Think about the trust they must have for one another.

That was my takeaway. Think of the number of humans who have been kicked by a donkey or gored by a bull.

    And these dudes are chilling.

And more importantly, I think that it is strange how the post is inferring sexuality so strongly.

      Bruh

The team not only recorded 51 mountings of Patroclo by Achille, but noted licking and rubbing often occurred before and, more surprisingly, after such events.

Bruh, never had a dog hump your leg?

You really want this to be gay, and that’s fine. You do you with consenting animals.
