Been using this one for quite a while now. Sometimes you need to share AI conversations for context. My rule of thumb is that I human summarize and contextualize like I would normally, then in a thread below it, fork off an ai;dr quoted reply. Makes it like optional reading.
Dang, these initialism are getting more complicated. It would be nice to have some variation on the word “summary”.
Ok, I don’t get it. What is ai;dr supposed to stand for?
AI; Didn’t read. It’s the AI version of tl;dr (too long; didn’t read).
Thanks!
I’ll be using this.
Wake me up when AI ends by green day.
I hate that this could kinda have two meanings:
- This is AI slop so I’m not reading it
- This is too long I ain’t reading allat, give me the AI summary
It’s just the first. The second would be TL;AI.
I would vote for the first, mainly to follow the TLDR format
make it llm;dr and we got a deal
si;dr final offer
/s if it wasn’t clear
Did someone say cider?
ts;wr
Too slop; won’t read
That acts too much like a challenge rather than a warning/statement.
I’ve seen this a year ago it isn’t new
Ai;dr something something you’re right and brilliant for asking.
Babe, wake up, new subliminal advertising tactic for Threads just dropped.
Has been used for months. Not new.
Is it when you give an incorrect but confident summary of an article?
Okay, but some people think the use of capitalization and punctuation is proof positive the writing is AI.
And watch out if you know MarkDown or how to indent.
-cue ‘its not that deep’/‘paragraphs’/DukeNukemI’mNotReadingAllThat.jpg spam-
And here I thought we had peaked with slop, bravo internet
