        Wow lucky. A baseball field here was repaired by taxpayer dollars under the guise that it will be paid for by FEMA; then they don’t know when that payment will happen, only a portion will be paid compared to the final cost. Oh yeah and the lame baseball team is going to another city. Cool, not that I care since I only went to one game in 20 years. And there’s a shortage in city funds to fix infrastructure. Go figure

      Dont even get me started. I use an example of how the Eden Project cost half of what my local arena cost when providing a guest lecture at my university. Eden took an old mine and converted it into a facility that educates and acts as venue and has brought in 1.5 Bn quid to the economy since it opened in 2001.

      I remeber seeing this or another stadium in texas being build, i think by a private asshole. The stadium was almost finished. They talked how they could close the roof and climate the whole fucking thing, in the texas heat. I almost threw up.
