This happens because alpha-gal occurs in the saliva of many different tick species, and injecting a tiny bit via tick bite is all it takes for some people to have that first allergic reaction. Are you suggesting “they” modified the genomes of ticks worldwide decades ago in order to elicit an allergic reaction in a vanishingly small number of people?
