OOOOH I missed the “less,” thank you.

I think that might be a typo in the women’s brains section. Less than 10% of what men’s brains weigh, but then later on they say men’s brains are “slightly” heavier? Something ain’t adding up. I think they forgot a digit.
You’re not wrong, necessarily, but how did it work out for that relationship afterward? Did she become a better friend? Sometimes I wonder if it’s worth the effort. It doesn’t feel like a lot but many of us are problematically conflict-averse so it is a lot of effort in that way. If the “friend” in question isn’t presenting much value to me as a friend, I’m probably not going to invest a lot of effort into improving the relationship, especially if I have other, better options. Maybe that’s mean in its own way but then again, it’s just a different kind of setting boundaries, I suppose.
Now that I’m in my 40s with small group insurance, I, too, am more focused on the 63 year old who wants to go after big pharma than I am on some faulty idea of youth. Godspeed, my friend.

2·4 months agoI have three of the water bottles on the image and I gotta say, I do really like the Owala. I’m personally a fan of straws but I vastly prefer having something that I can close and throw in a bag without it leaking. The Owala fits that. The only problem I’ve had is if I don’t clean it for a while. I only use water, but after a while the water I drink out of it will start to make my mouth feel dry and taste bad, if that makes any sense at all. I’ve found scrubbing the silicone seal on the lid makes a big difference.
(Also I’m a basic white middle aged bitch so I guess only having three of the bottles in the image is good… right? Bleh.)
I’m pretty good at being as you described and I still prefer online shopping whenever possible. Ah, the joys of introversion! People are often surprised when I describe myself as an introvert, and my response is that I fake extroversion well.
