Very inconvenient for a PC login. Also, you need a password you can remember for your password manager at least

Since you mentiin Fairphone s a example- get Fairphone. Not sure which ROM but it supports at least one of the options. I was thinking of getting one myself but it’s unfortunately too pricey
Piped and other different frontends are not really Youtube alternatives. It’s just alternate ways to watch Youtube. They are still priceless
Depends on the place I guess. I’m pretty sure some are updated
And once you are finished you can probably start over to stay up to date
I tried MagicEarth for navigation and quite happy with it. It is not open source, but should be privacy respecting (not seen anything as of now that would suggest they don’t mean it). Even has trafic info (though not as reliable as Waze/Google). A middle road for when you want to degoogle but also have some convinience in places where OSM is not as up to date.
Though I don’t think it has additional details for the businesses and such like Google Maps, it’s purely for navigation.
I had no idea they have hiking trails! You opened a whole new world for me!

From what I read, this also breaks sponsorblock - as the ads are part of the video, it moves the time stamps of the video so it makes it not correct. The ads will also change I imagine so idk if sponsorblock will be a solution.
This was exactly what I eas thinking.
I’ve spent a lot of time with offline open source AI running on my computer
Can you elaborate on this? Are there some that are worth looking into?
I’m honestly kinda excited about the possibilities in the greater scheme of things, but the fact that Microsoft will pretty much record whatever people are doing on their systems is just nuts nd slightly terifying. This is something that should ideally be done locally, without big corporations looking in - but that’s for sure not what they are doing.
I honestly don’t know how I could function without password manager. It was one or two passwords for everything or constant resetting becauseI forgot what variaion I used where.
Will try to look into that, thanks!
If there is a way to do this on the Home Assistant Green hub I bought I have no idea how is the issue. But oh well, looking into workarounds. I at least figured out how to add it as a simple IP cam for now.
I guess that’s the issue - I assume this needs to be installed on the hardware running the Home Assistant. I went with the easy option of getting the Home Assistant Green hub, so I don’t assume there is a way for me to make it work… or it’s just beyond my capabilities
Thanks anyway for your patience with me, unknowingly asking the same damn thing over and over like a dummy.
If you wouldn’t mind, could you share how you managed to make the Tapo cameras work with Home Assistant? I finally got it set up and while I had no isse with bulbs, cameras just can’t be adde through the TP Link integration. There are no Tapo cameras listed as supported on the Home Assistant web eithet
Sorry, didn’t click the link, didn’t realize HA stands for Home Assistance there. As you can tell, pretty new to this. Thanks for the answer!
Ente is an awesome Google Photos alternative.
RiMusic is a great Youtube music frontend.
Tubular is a NewPipe fork with sponsorblock that I currently enjoy. Used LibreTube but Piped was fucked for me for awhile.
