I certainly started late with gamepads. Through most of my gaming years it was a combination of keyboard and joystick (and later mouse). I didn’t have consoles until the Wii, but I did get the Pro Controller after a while and got on ok with it.

In which case I suggest you file a GDPR violation against all web browsers, as by default they will be allowing tracking and sending data to advertisers.

How does this violate the GDPR? It increases privacy and stops advertisers tracking everything you do. This seems to be a good thing.

Advertisers have always been interested in where their ads are seen and whether they convert to purchases. A common example is vouchers, which will tell the advertiser exactly this (10p off, customer redeems, store returns to advertiser, advertiser knows where you got the voucher from/where you saw the advert, where you bought the product - exactly what Firefox is trying to tell them)

dump1090 comes with a webpage showing which aircraft it is currently tracking, although I suspect the maps don’t run offline.

Those shortcuts invoke clipshare. It looks like there’s also a sync mode so you can use normal copy/paste and it will still sync.

Absolutely agree, that’s the stuff of science fiction and hopefully stays in the fiction realm.

The issue is that if a crime is committed then the police will be interested in gathering any video footage they can get their hands on (I’ve had it at work where I’ve been asked for CCTV footage from cameras that may have had an outside chance of capturing something important). If a company is sending robots out with cameras on them, and they are recording footage, then that footage is going to be requested (whether the company admits to working with the police or not).

Should there be this many cameras watching our every move? Probably not, but as the cameras are there, they are going to be used, and people should expect to be recorded - especially if they are committing a crime.

Somebody tried to steal a robot and was surprised that video footage from the robot was used as evidence?
