put an active murderer behind bars (that guy is now walking free).
And with demands that said that nothing they did or will do is illegal
and that instead the police should be investigated for malpractice
and be send to jail if any wrongdoing was found.

What it did not have and other protests don’t are signs that say
“If you’re X and you do not protest, then you’re with them”
and shop lootings,
with the latter, the US Republican media constantly harps on.

If that’s a “beautiful sight to behold” according to most US politicians,
then any US citizen should demand the right to have the same rights
as the Hong Kong protesters demanded.

1. Full withdrawal of ICE and the Alien Enemies Act
2. A commission of inquiry into alleged ICE brutality
3. Retracting the classification of protesters as anything but protesters
4. Amnesty for all arrested protesters no matter the action done
5. Abolishment of the first past the post system

But you could ask for more than that, because ICE raids
and building concentration camps do not equate with
an extradition law that would have affected
maybe 6 people in a decade.

I remember the George Floyd protests had a little bit of that,
when people marched through gated communities,
and attacked police and counterprotesters,

Hearing their slogans, which are complaints, a step up from drums and dances,
I can say that the protests in the US are finally getting slightly less milquetoast.

“We demand Peter Thiel to resign as a first step!”
“Murderers!”
“Move! Out of the way! Let us through!”

Would be better though.

It’s amazing how many times I saw this knowledge being spread, together with thousands of umbrellas and hard hats during the Hong Kong riots from day one with “Hong Kong, add oil” as their first slogan combined with very mild mannered arguments (we don’t know if it could lead to more serious things) against the extradition law which was supposed to affect maybe half a dozen people per decade, all serious criminals. A law almost every country has on earth that the US used against the daughter of the owner of one of the largest companies in the world, for the flimsiest of reasons, in contrast to the walled-off-to-arrest-one-particular-teen-girl-axe-murderer-to-be-shipped-to-Taiwan-law Hong Kong tried to implement.

How many people have been affected by the Alien Enemies Act again?

And how did the The protests were call “No kings” remember that? Remember that it was called NO KINGS “Unbiased. Straight. Facts” SAN? Do you remember that? No? Okay, well… “anti-ICE” it is protests go?

Because apart from the shocker that you were being surveilled, I think the protests needed a little bit less “Zero demands, not one more” chants and a little more ‘We demand and protest until we win and get what we want’ kind of thing.

People are missing the point of the author here and the author is missing how far AI has come.

Msot AI today has no senses which is why it’s so disjointed.

It’s quite interesting how American’s have always been about their government’s “checks and balances”

Hahaha, that’s a good one.
The US has always been about slave owners on stolen land to be in power with all its perks but without any of its responsibilities by putting as much wool over everyone’s eyes as much as they can.
Every supposed check and balance the US has is to keep these oligarchs in power.
And they’re all laughably theatrical like putting in enormous importance into term limits, like it’s some kind of pinnacle of democracy.
As if dictators will stop dictating because there’s a clock involved.
All it does is stop the public from choosing the one leader that isn’t corrupted by monied interests over and over again.
It does not stop a leader from speedrunning into doing whatever he wants.

3. Stop using closed source apps

Oh yeah, let’s call someone ‘using open source’ in terms of ‘to exploit’.

Maybe the US should also ban GNU licences, open hardware licences and force Linux to sell itself to Google while we’re at it. Then destroy all distros except chromeOS.
After all, China could exploit these open source software projects.
