Good question! The silver actually dissolves in contact with their blood and causes their cells to rapidly tear themselves apart, diminishing in the process. So a trace amount of silver would hurt terribly, but would likely not kill them.

Very interesting anyway, I’ll look into it properly later. I’ve been trying to get some vector animations made and the free(ish) editors I could find were painful to use, so an alternative is most welcome.
