I took it a step further once: we were playing DSA (can’t recommend, I don’t like the system) and it has a spell called Objectovoco (German source, sorry). That spell allows you to ask objects yes or no questions that they have to answer truthfully. So I was basically interrogating the furniture when we were supposed to have no witnesses to ask.
It’s still trivial, assuming the three guards guard three doors: just ask each guard: “Would the guard that always lies say this door is safe?” The random guard will give a random answer while the other two give the inverted answer. Even better if don’t ask the random guard first, then you can repeat the question about the other doors to the same guard and only need two questions
If you play 3.5e, Hasbro shouldn’t be affecting you. You’d be using old books and PDFs anyway and Hasbro has no control over that.
I had the idea to do the reverse and throw the 5e Tarrasque at my players in my PF2e when they are around level 8* or so. Basically using one of the most powerful DnD bosses as a mid level side boss.
* I haven’t done the exact math yet
What’s even more perplexing to me is that in online spaces it seems to be almost exclusive MTF trans people, when IIRC FTM trans people are more common overall. But it sometimes feels like they don’t even exist.
