I have a thick as a brick vinyl from 1972 and it’s still in a great condition :) i know it’s not suitable for 8-channel recordings or anything, but maybe we should’ve invested in that type of research.

that’s fair.
i have it set up on a headless server running alpine linux and it has libtorrent2 in its repos. i did exactly as i explained and got it workin, so i was assuming lots of things, apparently.
the site 404s.
here’s my ¢2:
simple cuts and joinery
is it woodwork? then there’s a decent workbench https://github.com/dprojects/Woodworking
check out other workbenches, too https://wiki.freecad.org/External_workbenches
i guess securescuttlebutt is what you’re referring to.
your best bet would be i2p
with note3 unlocking was a breeze. i got a poco f1 a couple of months ago and i literally spent a week to find the correct unlocker. this is really getting out of hand. i would buy a fairphone or shiftmq for my next phone but my country has some weird rules in place for iemi’s so it’s really not an option.
ldap is a central authority server. when you have ldap supported software, you can alliviate authorization to a central server. and if you make it so that you only need username for credentials (uid=%s,dc=example,dc=com in ldap jargon), you centralize your user database.
that’s what i use on my home server. it takes most of the user registration hassle away.
edit: by the way dc=example,dc=com is just an arbitrary value, you don’t have to have certbot certification for that or anything.
i don’t know if all of those forum software supports this but this is why we have OpenLDAP for. you can have username as a login criterion and not full username@site.tld. that way when you create a user in one place, you would have that same user everywhere.
i have a poco f1 and alcatel idol3. both are ready for daily driving. i think idol3 is a little better than the pinephone despite being a 2016 phone, and poco is just amazing performance-wise. i have microg on poco and pmos on idol3, trying to migrate my whole workflow. apart from camera, everything’s working quite smoothly.
you can’t get a sim card anonymously here, and i believe that’s the situation in other places. and even individuals selling their phones make some ownership transfer papers.
it’s very hard to stay anonymous on mobile. our best bet is still desktop/laptop.
did you downvote your own post :)
“illegal activities” doesn’t always mean buying crack cocaine, or whatever. depending on where you live it can mean:
accessing wikipedia, forming communities, performing union activities…
in other words, the ruling class of your country decides something being threatening their power, and that becomes an illegal activity.
of course everyone can be tracked. also everyone is not julian assange, so i’m not so worried about using tor for “illegal activities”.
"What will be the consequences of non-compliance?
Fines: of up to 10% of the company’s total worldwide annual turnover, or up to 20% in the event of repeated infringements"
it’s a tough pill to swallow.
if you mean demands of eu then they’re all clear:
they have 5 months to prove that it’s not a gatekeeping service, if they cannot do that then it will be added to the list. the list gets updated every 6 months.
i’m using their e-mail, too and it’s working fine. they also have a custom domain perk which you can forward your custom domain there.
