Not only we had compilers to z-code for a long time, but in fact first third-party languages for the z-machine were better than Infocom’s own, which was discovered from their leaked code. So I’d guess reversing the bytecode isn’t a problem either for a while now.
Considering that afaik they were shipped in Z-code, the game code was already visible to any Z-machine implementation and to whoever wanted to fiddle with raw Z-code.
Regarding email, consider buying a personal domain for your email address. You specify the ip addresses of the email provider in the domain’s DNS, and on the provider’s side specify that the domain is for your email box. This way, if the email provider doesn’t work out, you only need to change the DNS records to another provider, instead of changing the email address on accounts (which is often impossible).
However, not all email providers support custom domains, and some only do that on paid tiers.
That creature looks uncomfortable. Also, it’s been a while since I did anything D&D — aren’t those stats buffed a whole lot?
