I’ve got FreeTube saved, or installed rather, alongside Morphe’s patched YouTube just in case my fav (NewPipe) has dramas like it did earlier this month.
The fact we even have options to stay off their radar is what makes me happiest :)

8·11 days agoThis is a small follow-up to my recent F-Droid-focused article, this time highlighting some of the apps I enjoy most from the platform.
From the unusual and fun (birding, anyone?) to the useful, these are the apps that keep me coming back. F-Droid is a powerhouse of options for Android users, offering a huge range of open-source software that is often far more respectful of your privacy and data than mainstream alternatives.
I just use a VPN server from my own country, which is annoying.
Then switch back to elsewhere when I’m not here.



We replaced our site’s (not-very-used) Discord server with Matrix, and even if a few thousand don’t know/didn’t follow, we’re happier to be on a nicer space than Discord :)
