Doesn’t it also require a phone number?
Doesn’t it also require a phone number?
Good question. I’d mostly like to avoid entities like my car insurance provider from collecting information on my driving, things like that.
I have an old car with no advanced technology whatsoever. Could this be avoided by turning off my phone while driving, or can they still acquire data?
I haven’t experienced any of the problems mentioned in this article while using Firefox + uBO (on Windows, Linux, and Fennec fork on Android), nor while using the Tubular app on Android.
This is the one I’ve been using for a long time, and it’s worked well for me
I love this, but I wish it would display both F and C simultaneously.
Oh really? Well, that’s good news! I’ll edit my comment. Thanks for the information.
I’d go with LibreWolf.
A few years ago, Waterfox was purchased by System1, and advertising company. It also collects more user data. Edit: Looks like the dev bought it back. I’d still recommend LibreWolf though.
In my experience, LibreWolf is a good balance between privacy and functionality. I’ve never had problems with LibreWolf.
Here’s a video explaining why you should use Tor with a VPN. He addresses the statements made by the Tor project.
Would it be significantly more costly than some of the features vending machines already have, such as card readers? I think these things are pretty costly already, but the profit margin on snacks and soft drinks is extremely high, so I’d imagine they’d recoup their cost pretty quickly.
Don’t feel bad. The first time I encountered this site, I thought it was legit too. It wasn’t until I had read several articles that I realized it’s a right-wing propaganda site.
Every so often, you should search for furry inflation porn, just to make their job more interesting
Literally magnetic. She asked if she could try to stick a magnet to my shoulder where I got the vaccine. Predictably, it didn’t stick. Sadly, this didn’t seem to convince her that she was wrong.
Right-wing “science” is a whole different animal, and I think we should shut it down, before they pull out the skull calipers and things get really ugly. As long as it’s not the state doing it, I agree with Facebook and other media sites deplatforming these clowns.
Obviously Facebook didn’t do enough to remove potentially deadly misinformation because my ex-boss was foolish enough to think I got magnetized from the COVID vaccine and also thought masks didn’t work. I wish they’d been more proactive about removing shit like that.
Anyway, this seems less like a privacy issue and more like right-wingers being crybabies.
Bookmarked in case I ever need it, thanks!
