Oh, absolutely. Ironically is just a set of scripts that you can run independently, it is called Phoenix. I run the script on the FF Nightly installed on my phone for the LULZ and for the newer toys.
True, TOR is best in class, but if you have used it, then you will see that it has some caveats for every day normal usage. Tons of sites will actively block it or give you trouble. But of course, it has its niche and tons of use cases, but in my use case it is a bit overkill.
Aside Lemmy, Reddit, and LinkedIn, all of which I use very sporadically, I am not on any other social media, use VPNs which I switch often, Do not use Google/MS services and I host most of the stuff I use myself including my own cloud and search engines.
IronFox barely breaks anything for me, and that is with webrtc and JIT disabled but as I said, most of the stuff I use is hosted by me, so I make those work. In my use case, uBlock Origin, used in Medium mode breaks way, way, way more stuff. But most people do not use it that way, so it does not apply to them.

This is what I been using for years. Works great. But not everyone has, knows or wants to deploy a server with Nextcloud.
Firefox Sync looks fine.
Get a NewPipe fork, like Bravepipe or PipePipe. They include sponsor block built it which will enhance the viewing experience.
I would suggest using Heliboard as it includes suggestions and more options in settings.
Lastly, albeit a bit more complex, if you use a VPN, then you can install a SearxNG instance on your phone with Termux. Have your on search engine straight out of your phone. I would not suggest to do this without a VPN since you should switch your location often enough as to not be profiled. You can likely find tutorials online on how to do this. Or you can wing it if you are a Linux power user and know your way around GitHub and Terminal.
I use Island. Same concept, and does the same, including contact isolation. Which was added a while back.

This is a bit of a misnomer. No one PC can be fully anonymized or fully private, even if the PC provided fake data points, they will still be technically fingerprinted. Having said that, having a browser that tries to spoof stuff like LibreWolf, Tor or IronFox is decent.
The gains in using a VPN, among other best practices is that helps --assuming people do not log on to something like Google-- is to minimize the fingerprint of the PC to you, as a user. Assuming one trust their VPN provider, helps.
Tor leverages the point of having all users look and be fingerprinted mostly as the same, so you get lost in the shuffle and crowd.
Quite true, but that should not be a reason to use Gmail, anyway.

Been using uBlock for what feels like 15 years now. I find it weird and off putting when using other people’s PCs without it. So many ads and so much garbage everywhere. Same when I watch network TV.
I use IronFox and I do pass that test. Only browser that I use that does. FF and Cromite do not.

The Gates and Melinda Trust Fund. Who controls that? Bill and Melinda Gates and until a few years ago, also Buffet.
Bill is smart. He wants to make a shitload of money on vaccine tech? Sure, have the foundation give earmarked donations to the WHO that can only be used for that, then GABI, his other arm of the foundation can serve as the middle man for that cash. That’s before he invested hundreds of millions in big pharma and then what? = Profit. He does the same on education? = Profit. He pushed fake meat, invest a bit on it --relatively speaking to him-- and then, on the side, becomes the largest if not second largest farm land owner in the USA who then leases that land back to farmers. = Profit.
How come most people do not know most of this, because he also “donates” hundreds of millions to big media, you know, out the kindness of his heart. You know, so why would they report or say or rpeort anything negative of the guy? Quite the opposite. Remember Covid, why is a billionare on the news telling you what to do? Why him? Why any billionaire? Luckily, the link below tells us who they bribe, I mean, help with generous donations to their yearly budgets. And this is a couple of year old but the trend continues.
