My pixel 8 pro has been working fine with usb-c headphones getting regular use. I usually leave them plugged into the phone throughout the day and then charge at night. Phone’s maybe 8 months old now, but I did the same with my pixel 6 for years without a problem. I am pretty careful when I unplug things from the slot though.

I did pretty much the same a little over ten years ago. Lost two close online friends but they never contacted me on text, email, or discord (which I gave them because it was new and cool at the time). I had held onto Facebook specifically for those two friends for a few years longer than I would have liked, and couldn’t stomach it anymore.

I’ve used the discord web client on graphene quite a lot. It has fewer features than the app but I feel better about it. Same with my bank- I can just log into the website via my phone’s browser.
