Big screen with the audio loud as it can be, lol. I service houses, I seen it countless of times.
Ai will ruin us all. It has only just begun.

No, because the smart TV just stores the data it wants to send and sends it as soon as it is online again.
If this is true, that is diabolical.

Obviously that would help to be completely offline. A side note-there are city security cameras right outside my house. It makes you wonder about tech that possibly could see through walls. You won’t be able to hide at all soon. There will be cameras everywhere you look. Especially in the cities.

Being unknowingly spied on, yes, it is about privacy. A reason why I posted.

It is good advice, but tell that to the old people that want to watch YouTube on a big screen lol. And they don’t have another device.

This is to help anybody that actually uses them online.

To watch YouTube or Netflix, lol, is that new to you? I don’t do it but more people do than you think.

Visit a random granny 1000 miles away for a $100 job lol, sure. Much easier to explain how to reduce data being sent back.

Every person does not do this. They will still use it for the apps on the TV.

I didn’t say it stops all of it, it reduces it.

Oh yea? Tell that over the phone to the old granny that lives alone to do that. People like that have no idea how to. Not everybody is that tech savvy.

Most will keep using smart TV’s on the internet. It is helpful in reducing the data sent back.

You are clearly ignoring everything I just said. Even another person explained it and you are still oblivious.
This post was for the people that didn’t know that data was being sent back, and how to help reduce it. Not everybody is going to keep their smart TV offline forever.
READ!

Exactly. He still doesn’t understand, apparently, we are talking clearly and he isn’t getting it. It is like trying to talk to a flat earther or some shit.

Holy shit, dude. This post was for the people that didn’t know that data was being sent back, and how to help reduce it. That is the whole point! Not everybody is going to keep their smart TV offline forever.

Not all people just plug in a device for things like Netflix. They just use a TV to consume content. And you brought up the devices. That is all I was saying in our conversation.

Plug in another device and use it to load up Netflix.
You are the one not understanding that every person doesn’t think like you. Some just have a TV and a phone connected to Wi-Fi, that is it. I service houses for IT reasons, I know what I am talking about. I see it all the time.

Yes they do! People for sure just have smart TV’s, and they have tons of apps when connected online. Load up Netflix and then they are done. Old people especially, do it all the time. That is all they use. That and probably just a phone. Shit, some still have landlines. They live alone and had somebody set it up for them.
That was a blind spot for me. You are right.
