Sorry, not with the Linux movement yet due to being poor and can’t afford a hard drive at the moment 😞
Anyway.
Recently ran into a thing with Waterfox where I needed it to load & refresh pages in a time-sensitive application for an event I was participating in, but Waterfox was just struggling. Ended up missing slots for said event, and I’m really annoyed.
I really don’t want to use Brave, but it’s the only browser not in beta that is considered “Private” (would love to go back to Cromite if it wasn’t MIA).
Any suggestions?
vanadium also works on non-graphine os
If you really, really need to go down the wrong path, vivaldi is most likely the best choice
brave is gross
Titanium is a good one. Works with extensions and is updated regularly.
Have a look at Ungoogled Chromium, it’s Chromium with all the Google functions removed.
I like Helium as a chromium based browser for PC
Vivaldi is probably your best choice, but I personally use ungoogled-chromium.
Maybe faking the user agent would help? There are extensions for reporting to sites you are using different browsers.
Alternatively, if you don’t want the browser to monitor everything in the PC, maybe install on a virtual machine?
When a site just won’t cooperate on anything Firefox-based, Vivaldi is my Chromium poison of choice. It also has good privacy features and customization, without the toxic project runners of Brave.
