I’ve seen that some peoole tell others to switch from Google Maps to MapQuest just because Google uses “Lake America” instead of MapQuest’s choice of “Lake Ontario”. And honestly? Kinda valid. What other dumb reasons yoi’ve seen someone degoogle?

I don’t think that they meant what I’m thinking, but hey, you wrote “replace a Google altermative”, which is a double negative, and would mean getting something else instead of the alternative, so possibly, back to Google.
