      Hah, thanks for spoiling my next post here! Seeing the Spaghetti-Os one reminded me of one of the oldest and dumbest rules in wargaming; that’s from The Campaign for North Africa: The Desert War 1940–43, where Italian units need extra water to cook noodles.

        You know the best thing about this rule? It’s not even realistic - historically the Italians just cooked their pasta ration in the sauce that came in the cans.

    In my session last week my players were discussing using a magic music box to try and distract a pair of rampaging bulettes. Eventually one player turned to the player who had the music box (thankfully his fiancée) and innocently asked “Would you be ok if the monster munched your box?”
