Quark once got a feather stuck in his ear from some ear play. https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Tympanic_tickle My guess is that they don’t like rigid objects inserted. They have extremely sensitive hearing, so I’m guessing vibrating objects are also a no-go. PROBABLY not, but different people like different things, and Ferengi are well known for selling anything to anyone, so… maybe?
