I do play Pathfinder!

I do play Pathfinder!

I mean, yeah, that’s generally more the response, but I don’t mind explaining things a bit if they’re interested enough to inquire.

I used to do that, but these days I just say I play “tabletop games.” And then one of three things happens: “Huh? What do you mean?” In which case I can clarify a bit, and usually wrap up with “Games similar to D&D.” “Oh okay.” Obvious disinterest, no need to elaborate further. “What system do you play?” Ah, a fellow player identified!
Set up Zipline to share bigger files with my friends.
My players and I all love to roleplay so we’re fine with this sort of thing. That said; generally I encourage a little roleplay up front, then we see the roll. Then depending on whoever thinks of the funniest outcome first, the player either adds something to reflect the roll’s outcome, or I find some reason why whatever they said up front did/didn’t work. Either way, it’s great fun for all of us!
On the rare occasion I run for a different/new table though? Nope, not unless I see the players showing initiative by roleplaying without my prompting, I’ll assume we’re here to play it straight.

I believe the numbers I saw were about 3-5k, so it might not handle your collection well. However, I encourage you to check their github to confirm rather than just go off my vague recollection alone.

The devs are also pretty responsive to bug reports!
I will say that they themselves have mentioned that there is kind of a limit in library size because the project is meant to serve “small to modest personal libraries” but I think it was ranked as a few thousand, so that won’t be a problem for most people I think.
Unfortunate there’s not a good substitute for MyAnimeList, I’m really not a fan of the website design.
