I have 4mbps down, 3 up. But I only pay $10/mo.
Just a shiny male toy…

Cool stuff. I’m not a photographer but some of the effects in that community are really interesting.
I don’t use the official client, but airvpn with pure wireguard works perfectly.

Til about lkrg.

I’m going to keep manufacture local to the west coast, but yeah, price deltas are almost extreme in comparison.

Sheesh. Better setup a secondary destination for my customers just in case.

Somehow 4chan admins have largely escaped legal consequences for this stuff, and I don’t think it’s just because of sec230.
Not a fan of 4chan, but I do note both their and the pirate bay’s operation scheme.

Sounds like hosting outside the US is a possible solution. Many things to be careful of, regardless.

Pair domains supports ipv4/6 DNS, Dnsmasq, and dynamic DNS. Cheap, 2fa secured and does the job reliably.

I like pair domains.

I’ve got a small Enterprise customer running on a Dell r710, 2gb ram to the slightly custom docker image for nc, 4gb+ for the woods sit, the other 14gb to KVM to run a windows application.

Ideally yes, but I’ve had to do this regularly for many services developed both in-house and out of house.
Solve problems, and maybe share your work if you like, I think we all appreciate it.

Cry about it and reflect on it, bitch.

What a piss poor brain you have.

🤷 sometimes people grumble quietly until a final straw is added to the stack. Not surprising.

I see a lot of good discussion here. I’ve been on proton for years now, using my own domain. While true that Andy is one of 5 board members, and it’s a nonprofit etc, these statements are raising hairs on my neck, personally.
Does anyone have a good guide on problems associated with self-hosting email?

Damn, that’s critical for my needs.

So I’ve heard and read. Fwiw, I was reading into the state of the art many years ago when fingerprinting was more nascent, I expect it’s matured and gotten yet more advanced in the time since (unfortunately).
Guess I gotta pause working on interesting, net-positive work for a little bit to see where things are, and how to properly combat it, lest I give out poor advice again.
I’m glad you posted it. Wherever, as long as I can read it. I appreciate the other person’s spirit too, but just glad for knowledge being shared.
