  • Of course France would be the first. They’re the most known to dthrow revolutions.

Doesnt help the whole world is experiencing a gen z anti authoritarian shift.

Even in India right now they are fighting against their goverment. The whole world needs Israel’s spyware to protect them and genocide anyone who stands up to them. They need you to ID your online identity so they can Ai filter our your speech and send you to prison for life.

Makes sense why trump is labeling anyone that dares be critical of him or his policies as a “Cuban terrorist”

  • They’ve legitimately have done this same song and dance like 3 times already. Like 2012ish erra they canceled a facial recognition thing they said they didnt have due to backlash. Their whole auto facial tagging system was another one.

Now they are contributing to ai segmentation tools that focus on seperating your face so it can be used in nonconsentual ai porn that they have no way of stopping.

I don’t even know what one they are referencing in this article but they are always working on facial recognition for some reason. If you are on facebook or any of the meta services you are going to be used in their ai to generate porn, or stupid memes you don’t want to be associated with.

  • Your hearts in the right place, but you give them a inch and they’ll take a mile.

You have to have an absolute stance on things when you make statements online just to match our discontent so the message is clear.

They’re going to be trying to weasle in regardless, so it’s not productive to assist them in any form. You just have to say a hard no regardless.

Also any messaging thats longer than a sentence and provides context goes straight in one ear and out the other. Make it simple stupid and make it repeatable.

  • In a place like this sure. Ironically though you don’t want to appeal to people who will have a discussion. Something like memes holds a thousands different meanings in the right context, and your brain picks up on that instantly.

The people who would never engage can get a distilled version of a 10 paragraph response from a meme, so when they do finally read a long opinionated article or comment, the memes they absorbed have already influenced them to a specific bias.

I believe we need more memes (NIMBY) on reddit, and to relentlessly make fun of our opposition to the point of it becoming a culture. The gamergate era Republicans are literally using the same exact arguments that they where trained to get triggered at 15 years ago. We need to be creating the equivalent of that.

  • Well I am failing to understand where I am not breaking through with you and feel like you keep getting caught up on small symantics that act more as gatch’yas more than anything. I typed up a different response but after re-reading our messages I kind of just repeat myself, and I don’t think either of us are going to really move forward.

Any other questions, concerns or points you would like to make?

  • They have the same fears of our tech too, Tesla isnt allowed to have their vehicles in many parts of China due to all its cameras and pings back to the US. All of our software surpremacy is just one super backdoor to the worlds information. Every other country desperately wants to stop that, besides our 5 eyes allies and Israel.

And sure I did classify what was worse but maybe my wording was a little bad and I’m failing to get my message across. All are bad, we are both pretty much evil countries that abuse human rights. One being forgien, and one being local doesnt change that.

What changes is one is directly effecting me and ruling over me. That aspect of it is worse.

  • Ahh so im talking to a Vulcan and I’m not allowed to go on my creative writting tangents. Also you talk like a debate bro I’m going to take your arguments you are trying to make at face value.

Both are malware, dont care in classifying which one is “worse” when primarilly I only care about the ones who have direct reach and control over my life and how I have to make decisions.

Our spyware is worse because I have to live directly with it and those are the people forcing computers into cars that we can no longer afford. Tech bros, and data companies are ruining cars. In my mind that’s much worse than a invisible threat that isn’t even allowed to operate here yet just due to the import fees alone. Fuck GM, fuck ford, fuck all them they should of never got bailed out.

  • Its just the way you keep pushing this issue implies that because the forgien one is bad, we should justify the local one being bad.

If anything I support the forgien one more because you know I expect them to be bad guys. If these entities where people how would you feel with them sleeping with your wife? The “foreigner Chinese bloke” would probably sting when you found out, but it would be nothing in comparison when your good Christian church leader Mr ford does it. Even worse the church leader will gas light you about it not happening, while continuing to double down and bring other guys over to fuck your wife. And he can only do this because hes local.

  • I classify anything thing that’s not foss as malware/spyware, and even then I cant even fully trust that.

If you really want to go down the rabbit hole the only thing that will end up making sense is temple OS. But no one really cares that much about privacy to be that inconvienced.

It was more to point out that its kind of hypocritical because its not like we aren’t doing the same thing. If anything I see the US goverment as a more of a threat because everything they do is directly effecting me. With China I cant be certain and can only blindly speculate what bad stuff is happening. I don’t directly see how I’m getting fucked so theres some willful ignorance I enjoy having occasionally. Its not like here how they use the cars meta data to make your insurance rates go up, or deny you coverage in a crash because they can point at a metric. Theres no face to the evil.

  • Would more likely be a forceful regulation of cars.

More likely we would be trying to push out imported cars by pushing some kind of “american saftey” regulation. Maybe claiming that the imported cars have Chinese spyware in them (but the spyware in our cars is cool), or by saying that they are trying to flood the market with cheap unsafe garbage cars so we need to tarrif them even more to save our domestic car market.

All while we forcefully regulated in more computers that make the roads even more unsafe. No one can turn their god damn neck anymore because of those stupid blind spot detectors and lane assist just means you can text while driving now. Oh and every car needs to collect more data than your phone can do legally. Bullshit computers won’t let you change the MOTOR for your windshield because the part is Vin locked so you have to spend 500 dollars on just the motor before the technician who is the only person allowed to work on your car, charges you 2.5 grand in labor. All that for a fix that uses to cost 20 dollars at a pick and pull.

Another route we can go is because cars have so many cameras the cars now have to have some American made operating system forced into them for “national security” which Honda, KIA, etc will all have to scramble to get working and it will be a disastrous mess that bricks cars, and causes a lot of issues.

In no way shape or form are cars going to become cool again and become deregulated. If anything gets deregulated its the consumer protections for data collection. Cars are on track to be this thing you are not allowed to own, but like a autonomous taxi that you indefinitely rent, and have no control or ownership over. It will be a narc and report and record everything you do. Its like public transport, but you have to pay the price for the whole car, and pay a monthly subscription for it on top of paying for the matience (that only the OEM can do at a $250 a hr labor charge).

I can only wish cars could become more degregulated. Im still bittered we bailed out the automotive industry all for them to keep fucking us in the ass with shittier bigger trucks that break down more often and we have to pay off for two to three presidential terms. Fucking China has the equivalent of a Tesla for 16k, and in the united States I can buy a Ford bronco for 36 months at 450 dollars a month.

  • Thank you I probably could of done that or wrote a little synopsis.

Synopsis - videos kind of a short video essay, where the op interviews someone they met at a privacy hackathon. The person in the interview seemed interesting to op, and they barely mention nym which was the project he made. They mention it at the end but only briefly, again it seems like a short video essay more than a tech video. More emotional but I appreciated the messaging at the end especially when I find myself focusing more on the negative.

  • If someone out there still thought the cops was the good guys, this is mainstream enough that its going to open some eyes to the belief that all cops are bad cops.

We’ve been saying how corrupt police are and how they are like a gang that sticks up for themselves first and foremost. Now the youth get to experience that second hand in a way that the public can’t confuse them about race issues or make it about issues anything other than what it is.

I know its stupid for reckless Ben to not use a lawyer but this way we get to see straight up every avenue they use to try to abuse their power.

  • Also the apps on the store have some how even less privacy protections thenyoue phone.

Half the apps let your TV act as a proxy for botnets. They need residential IPs otherwise sites won’t let them in to scrape all the data illegally, or use bots to wrote fake comments or inflate views.

Sucks you can’t just get a normal TV anywhere they all have to come with android and are sold at a loss because companies like Netflix pay to get their spyware perm installed into the TV. Literally if you want to buy a decently sized television (not a monitor under 26 inches) you pretty much have to buy a commercial TV that they use in drive throughs, and they cost like 5-10 grand because theres no spyware in it.
