I don’t understand what you said
I use justweather, i like its material you widget
Do you feel like the scroll is jittery?
I’ve been using floorp but the vertical tabs is still quite clunky and it uses a lot of ram on linux compared to windows. So I’ll try this right away and update my comment with a review.
Edit 2: I updated my pc and now it’s pretty smooth. Will change the update after giving it a bit more time.
Edit 1: I used it and it needs time. Vertical tab is similar to floorp but it’s too sensitive on “hover to expand”. Webpages seem very laggy and clunky, I have auto scroll on and yet it feels very jittery. Takes less ram compared to floorp(~1gb) with 1tab. Themestore looks good. Overall looks quite modern. Final tldr, needs optimization and not ready for daily drive.
I have that too but i just use osmand cause it’s more convenient to just create a route for bike. I use open tracks when I need to track my speed, distance, etc.
Honestly the osm ecosystem is really good. Best part is it’s always getting better.
What learning curve is there in Osmand? Bunch of extra features but they can be ignored.
Just got downvoted but no one answered :(
You weren’t exaggerating
Have you tried changing server? The default server is overworked.
The whole app is based on bubble tea or am i wrong
Osmand is the best but it’s complicated and has too many features for a casual maps user. It’s UI is not that bad as others suggest. I have both installed cause organic maps doesn’t support saving routes/tracks.
I like f droid and currently using droidify. On f-droid you have to enable “anti-features” and it’s not a bad feature in my opinion. It discloses if it’s using non free services.
I used both and didn’t notice much difference so i stayed with official client. Though there are many features in moshidon that others may need but i don’t.
Mastodon client also supports material you design.
Thanks for making this. I love it. Idk if this is the right method but whenever I’m conflicted with multiple things, i instantly rank them to get which one to start first.
