I switched from vim to Emacs, because I wanted to use org-mode, but I prefer vim keybindings.All I want is a performant and modern Emacs that has the same speed and startup time as neovim while not requiring the daemon, which also has the stability and capabilities of neovim (things like super easy language integration and lsp are a godsend)
Tweaking the init file goes a long way in speeding up Emacs init, you can change the GC threshold during initialisation, as well as only load a minimum amount of packages
One reason I was reluctant to use C# in open source projects is because the free tooling on Linux was subpar. This is great.
